Nefertiti botox is a non-surgical medical aesthetic treatment that aims to support the appearance of the lower face and neck by applying botulinum toxin to specific points of the platysma muscle, which pulls the jawline downward. Also known as the Nefertiti lift, the procedure takes its name from the ancient Egyptian Queen Nefertiti, recognized for her defined jawline and elongated neck.
The treatment is not an actual surgical face or neck lift. Rather, by balancing muscle movements, it aims to contribute to a more defined jawline and a more balanced neck appearance. When the downward pull of the platysma muscle is reduced in a controlled manner, the upward-acting facial muscles may become more balanced.
The result is not permanent and depends on the individual's existing anatomical structure. In most people the effect lasts approximately 3-4 months; in cases of noticeable excess skin, advanced sagging, or insufficient bone structure, it may not provide a sufficient result on its own.
