DHI (Direct Hair Implantation) is a hair transplant technique in which channel opening and placement of grafts are done in a single step with a special pen (implanter) called Choi.

What to consider before and after a hair transplant
A successful result depends as much on correct aftercare as on correct application.
- If you use blood thinners, be sure to inform your physician.
- Stop alcohol 3 days before and, if possible, smoking 1 week before the procedure.
- Wash your hair clean on the morning of the procedure and wear comfortable front-buttoned clothing.
- Do not take aspirin or vitamin C and E supplements without your physician's approval.
- Do not consume coffee or energy drinks on the day of the procedure.
- Do not touch the implanted area for the first 3 days and do not sleep face-down.
- Perform the first wash with lukewarm water and gentle touches as instructed by your physician.
- Avoid heavy exercise, sauna, sea/pool and direct sun for 10 days.
- Quit alcohol and smoking during the healing period.
- Use the prescribed medication and care spray regularly and attend your check-ups.
